CREDINS bank was founded as a joint stock company by verdict of the District Court of Tirana No. 28969, date 31 January 2003.

The activity of CREDINS bank is carried out in conformity with law No. 8269, date 23.12.1997 “On the Bank in Albania”, Law no. 8365, date 02.07.1998 “On the Banks in the Republic of Albania” and on the Decision of the Supervisory Board of the Bank of Albania, No 22, date 26.03.2003.

CREDINS bank operates under licence No. 16, dated 31.03.2003, issued by The Bank of Albania.

Based on this licence, CREDINS bank has the right to carry out the following activities:

a. receive and collect deposits
b. extend loans
c. borrow financial instruments and purchase or sell on its behalf or on behalf of the clients
- money market instruments
- Debt securities
- interest rates instruments
d. offer the service of payments and collections
e. issue, accept and administer payment instruments
f. intermediate for monetary transactions (including foreign currencies)
g. exercise leading activity
h. offer secure deposits
i . Offer bank guarantees and other guarantees
j . Serve as agent or financial advisor (services mentioned in clause 3/a and 3/b of this article not included)
