What is a Savings Account?

A savings account is used to deposit and withdraw money at any time, serving as a source of liquidity for investment plans and projects at the same time. You can manage your account by earning interest and having free access to your money at the same time.

How do I earn interest rates from my Savings Account?

Interest will be credited to your saving account at the end of each calendar quarter, calculated on daily closing balances.

Who can open a savings account?

Everyone can open a savings account. It is easy and fast, all you need to do is come to any of our branches with an ID card and the client service personnel will help you. The savings account can be held in more than one name as per your request. You can open a savings account in three currencies: Lekë (ALL), Euro (EUR), American Dollar (USD), as per your request or depending on the currency of your income. The minimum balance to open a savings account is 500 ALL or the equivalent of other currencies.

Why do i need a Savings Account?

Savings account is the perfect solution for:

  • Saving by not “freezing” your money
  • Starting to save money, if you are not yet ready to open a time deposit
  • Unexpected income and expenses
  • Rental income or other incomes apart from your salary
